• Be a professional artist who is actively practising and developing your art form
• Have experience of working in your art form in schools or other education settings
• Apply for a certificate of enhanced disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau through Daisi
• Carry your own Public Liability Insurance
• Have two references based on work you have done in schools or education settings within the last 12 months (Please make sure the contact information for your reference is current and that they have been informed that you are using them as a reference)
• Sign up to Daisi's child protection policy and all other Daisi quality assurance procedures

If you would like to apply to become a Daisi Artist, you will need to:

1. Call Daisi at 01392 385214 to request an Artist Application Pack. We can then further discuss with you what you can expect from working with Daisi.

2. Please complete and return the Artist Application Pack, including a completed application for Enhanced Disclosure (CRB check) and evidence of Public Liability Insurance.

3. Following receipt of these materials, and completion of your registration, we will contact you to discuss what sort of workshops you can offer and how to effectively market your work to schools.

Please note: Being a Daisi artist does not guarantee that we will be able to provide work in schools for you. It is the responsibility of the artist to work with Daisi to continually develop and market their own work.
